So at the beginning of December, I went on a mini-vacation to Hot Springs, Arkansas again. I had went last year for two days and it was heaven. This year I wanted to go again so I decided to stay for three days and bring my best friend with me. Last year the first place I stopped was at a petting zoo that was full of pygmy goats. I had never been able to play with goats like this before and needless to say, I became hooked. All year I've been talking about these damn goats. As soon as I arrived in Hot Springs, to the petting zoo we went. Armed with a bag of bread in my hand, I became the "Snow White" of cute, fat goats. It was just as great as last year and I still want to own a few pygmy goats.
I can't wait to start sharing photos from my trip with you! I love love love Hot Springs and every time I go, I don't want to come home.

ReplyDeleteLooks like some mutual adoration was going on! You look so happy :)
ReplyDeleteI died when I saw that pic with the roses LOL
Awww!! They are so cute!!! I love petting zoos! Pgmy goats? Are they like mini goats cuz they look smaller and more adorable than usual!
ReplyDeleteBefore I saw your last statement I was admiring your dress & still are!! It looks really pretty on you and totally fun! If I had tried it on I would probably check it out to see if there were more colors! =)
There are Hot Springs in Arkansas?? No way, can't wait to see the pics!
You look gorgeous! Noone should tell curvy girls what to wear because most of the things just look fab on them ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou look stunning, I personally love stripes, nothing beats em'. I love how you put roses to hide the goat butts, too freakin funny. I've never been to Hot Springs but it sounds lovely. Goats are great creatures and I love the few pictures of goats following you or you running away from them lol. I love the baby deer too, I don't get when people say deer aren't cute animals?

Hahahahah. GOATS. You wouldn't know this, but Zoe's family has goats. They're not pygmies, but regular goats. They used to raise them for 4-H and now still have some "leftover." Thus, Zoe is often the butt of goat jokes from us. Anyway, these guys are pretty cute! I have a photo of Aaron from when we visited a petting zoo, and they LOVED him. They wanted to help him tie his shoes (which was quickly followed by trying to eat his shoes). I'm glad you had fun; you definitely look like you were enjoying yourself. Perhaps a goat is in your future with your other creatures? ;) Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing more photos from your vacation. I know the feeling of not wanting to come back; you're so happy, so joyful, having so much fun in a new place with people you love ... and then you get slammed into your daily routine once more. Like time, the highs of vacation are fleeting when you, once again, face responsibility. By the way, you're jealous of MY hair? Oh, Arielle, it is in RINGLETS right now. Ugh. I would straighten my hair more often if I a) had the patience and b) felt like damaging my hair every day. I love your long locks! I get split ends far too easily, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteawwww so cute!!! looks like fun and something I would love to do
ReplyDeletehaha so cute! Love that last picture!
ReplyDeleteTehehe. You are so cute :] Blue is so pretty on you! Aaaand I want to to hang out with those goats. Oh my goodness. I love that you photoshopped the pics to make them appropriate, ahaha.

Zomg, it's you! I'm so use to not seeing you. You are beautiful, especially in that blue :)
ReplyDeleteOh yay goatieeeesss!! I LOVE goats! We go to a farm stand that's about an hour away and it's been far too long since I've gotten my fix. All of your pictures are fabulous. I'm SO smiling a huge grin now. :o)
ReplyDeleteEeeeeeee! Pygmy goats are so cute. I like the photo where a pygmy goat is following you while walking on a log. Hahaha! ;)
ReplyDeleteSo, this is going to sound strange, but for some reason I never think of Arkansas as a state. I don't even know where it is. Do you need to re-take elementary geography, Katie? Possibly yes.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, yay goats! To be quite honest, I'm not too fond of them. They kind of scare me but they are slightly cute.
I love that first picture of you and the goat chewing on your dress! That is frame-worthy. And horizontal stripes look good on you!
